I turn repetitive work into simple software.

I'm Tomás. I look at how a team works, find the tasks that consume its time, and turn them into faster, clearer tools. That might be a cash sheet, a quote that generates itself, an internal form or a complete application — the goal is always the same: to free people from repetitive work.

What are you looking for?

What I do

Software that simplifies work.

If what you need isn't on this list, I build custom automations — the process is the same.

Process automation

Turning repetitive tasks into fast flows, with less manual copying and fewer errors.

PythonPower AutomateExcelAPIs

Internal applications

Simple tools to enter, look up and validate information — in the browser, on the computer or on a local network.

ReactFlutterJavaScriptPower Apps

Data and reporting

Organising data, building analyses, dashboards and clearer reports to support decisions.

ExcelPostgreSQLMongoDBPython

Automatic documents and reports

Generating quotes, receipts, reports and PDFs from structured data — no copying by hand.

PDFTemplatesPythonJavaScript

Backend and integrations

Connecting apps to databases, authentication, email, maps or notifications.

NestJSNode.jsFirebaseSMTP

Applied security

Confidentiality, integrity and availability considered from the start: access control, sensitive data and risk.

AuthPermissionsLogsBackups

Projects

Tools you can try right now.

Demo · JavaScript

Interactive console

Talk to me, explore projects, validate a tax number, request a guided quote or play a game. Type help to begin. Built by hand, with no libraries.

Demo · 100% in your browser

CSV data analyser

Drop in the file exported from your invoicing software, till or bank: it detects the separator, finds the numbers (even with € signs and Portuguese decimal commas), calculates totals and draws a chart.

Demo · custom algorithm

Shift rota generator

A weekly headache for cafés, shops and clinics: set up the team, mark days off and per-person limits, and the rota is generated in seconds — balanced distribution, rest rules, print or export to Excel.

Demo · CSV → Word

Automatic surgical CV

Built for doctors: paste the surgery log and get the CV tables organised by surgery type — counted, formatted and ready to download in Word.

Demo · exports PDF

Quote generator

Quote, invoice or receipt: fill in the items and watch the document assemble itself — validated tax IDs, per-line discounts, ready to print or save as PDF.

Real file · unified Excel

SME Management — sales, cash & stock

One well-built workbook instead of four loose sheets: sales and expenses with ready-made lists, stock with configurable per-item rules (minimum, reorder point, target stock) that produce status and purchase suggestions automatically, and a dashboard with KPIs, margin, average ticket, chart and monthly evolution.

Can't see your problem here?

I also build custom automations — describe your case and I will reply with a concrete proposal.

How I work

User-centred by design.

The right questions first, with the people who do the work — only then the code.

  1. Listen to people

Who does the work? What do they do, in what order, where and when? I talk to whoever lives the process, no jargon.

  2. Identify the problem

Why is time being lost — and how much does it cost per week? I follow the real flow; the cause is often not where it seemed.

  3. Design with the user

How does the simplest version that solves it look? I propose it and validate it with the user before writing production code.

  4. Deliver and tune

I deliver a working version early, listen to feedback and refine. A tool nobody uses is worth nothing.

Main project · in development

Pró‑Vida in detail.

The project where I put almost everything I know to the test — in an emergency context, where the details matter.

A Flutter app, a NestJS backend, PostgreSQL and Redis, push notifications, maps and WebSockets — supporting emergency-response flows with fast communication, location and operational management. At this stage it is a development and demonstration environment, with fictional data and particular attention to security and privacy.

  • Authentication, profiles and per-role permissions.
  • Alerts with states, priorities and an auditable history.
  • Real-time location and nearby resources on the map.
  • Push notifications and WebSocket communication.
  • An API with strict validation on every input.

About

Who is on the other side.

I'm Tomás. I enjoy understanding how things work and making them simpler — most problems don't need a huge solution, they need to be properly understood.

What I enjoy building most are practical tools: internal applications, smarter forms, task automation, document and report generation, and Python software that runs locally or on a local network — avoiding cloud dependencies when that is the sensible choice. I use whatever solves the problem, not whatever happens to be fashionable.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask me.

What can a developer do for a small business?

In most cases, save time: automate Excel sheets, generate quotes and invoices automatically, consolidate data spread across many files, build forms that validate on entry, create shift rotas and develop small internal applications. The demos on this site are exactly that — you can try them before talking to me.

How much does it cost to automate a process or an Excel sheet?

It depends on the size of the problem. A simple Excel automation or script starts at an accessible price; a complete application is a different scale. What I guarantee: a clear proposal, with no obligation and no surprises — tell me what you need in the guided form or by email and I will reply with a concrete figure.

Is my data safe?

Yes — it is a principle, not an extra. Wherever possible I build tools that run locally or on the company network, without depending on the cloud. This site is the example: it has no database and no cookies, and every demo runs in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. I am based in Portugal and work remotely without any issue — most projects start with an initial call to understand the process, followed by short, frequent deliveries so you can validate early.

How long does a project take?

An Excel automation or a script is usually a matter of days. A document generator or an internal form, one to two weeks. Complete applications depend on scope — but I always start with the smallest version that already solves the problem.
